Shipping Policy

Shipping Policy

Daarna ships fresh pastries, so how an order is packed and when it leaves matters as much as how fast it travels.

Processing

Orders are prepared and packed before they are handed to a carrier. Orders placed close to a weekend or a holiday may be dispatched on the next working day, so that they are not sitting in a depot over a closure.

Packing

Pastries are packed in their presentation box and then protected for transit. Layered pastries and shortbread are the most fragile things we send, and we pack accordingly. If your order is a gift going directly to a recipient, tell us so we can pack it as a gift rather than as a shipment to you.

Delivery times

Once an order is collected by the carrier, delivery timing is in their hands. We do not currently publish guaranteed transit times, because we would rather tell you what is actually true for your address than promise a number. If you need an order to arrive by a particular date, email darna.pastry@gmail.com before ordering and we will tell you honestly whether it is achievable.

Where we ship

Shipping is calculated at checkout for the destinations we serve. To confirm whether we currently ship to your address and what it will cost, contact us at darna.pastry@gmail.com.

Addresses

Please check the delivery address before completing your order. Parcels that are undeliverable or lost because of an incorrect address may not qualify for replacement — see our Refund and Replacement Policy.

Weather and seasonal delays

Extreme heat, storms and peak-season carrier volume can all affect a food shipment. We monitor this and will contact you if we think a dispatch should be held to protect your order.

When your order arrives

Bring the box indoors promptly and store it as described in Pastry Care and Storage. If anything arrived damaged, photograph it before doing anything else and contact us.
