Our Story

Mediterranean Heritage, Tunisian Soul

Daarna takes its name from the feeling of home — a place where guests are welcomed, coffee is poured, and something sweet is always shared. Our collection brings the warmth of Mediterranean hospitality to a pastry tradition rooted in Tunisia, presented beautifully for a new generation of families, friends, and gift-givers across North America.

A Mediterranean table

Tunisia belongs to the Mediterranean world, shaped by local ingredients, family traditions and centuries of exchange around the sea. At DaaRna, that heritage appears in crisp baklawa, semolina makroudh, delicate kaak warka, nut-rich confections and sweets built around almond, pistachio, sesame, honey and floral notes.

We present these sweets as distinctly Tunisian within the wider Mediterranean heritage they come from — never as a generic category that erases their names or traditions.

Made to be shared

In a Tunisian home, sweets are not simply dessert. They arrive with coffee, in the middle of an afternoon, on a tray that someone keeps refilling. That habit is built into how we box things — assortments rather than single flavours, piece counts sized for a room, and packaging that can be handed over without wrapping.

Our promise

Rooted in Tunisia. Inspired by Mediterranean hospitality. Made to be shared.
